Dror Baron: Arches (8.2001)

Arches National Park.

Arches are cause by the erosion of wind, water, and ice.

The windows region of the park has many arches grouped next to each other.

The Delicate Arch is well known. For example, during the 2002 Winter olympics, the torch was carried beneath this arch.

The park also contains additional sites, such as these formations, which seem similar to the hoodooes of Bryce Canyon.

These eroded slabs of rock are quite colorful.
