We visited several wateralls along the northern
shores of Lake Superior in Minnesota.
An impressive feature in Minnesota is that the
high iron ore content of the surrounding area
gives the waterfalls a distinct orange tint.
We also drove through the twin cities of Minneapolis and
St. Paul, which offer some nice buildings
and large locks for transporting ships along
the Mississippi river.
